Our Caring Staff

Once you request the services of Johnson's Funeral Home, we will immediately put our experienced funeral professionals to work for you. A single, dedicated individual will stay in contact with you every step of the way and guide you through the decision-making process. He or she will carefully explain your options, make recommendations at your request, take care of all the small details, and ensure that you and your family’s personal touch is always present.

D. Grant and Pam Bolt

CFSP, MBIE & Owner

Grant, a licensed embalmer, funeral director and crematory operator, came back to Johnson's in September of 2014. A native of Grayson, KY, he began his career at Johnson's before spending more than 20 years of funeral service in Central Kentucky, including as an operations and personnel manager.

A founding member of Psalm 82:3 Mission, Grant is a member of the American Legion Post 24 Sons of the American Legion, Licking Valley Honey Bee Society, a member and Past President of the Georgetown Rotary Club, a board member of Kaden's Cause, and an active member of the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce. He also served as a coach with the Scott County United boys lacrosse team.

A Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP), Grant is a Past President of the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky where he still serves on various committees within the association. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and a member of the British Institute of Embalmers (MBIE). Grant is a former member of the Funeral Funding Trust of Kentucky Board of Directors and is also a Past President of the FDAK Central District.

Pam, a native of Lexington, is an Achievement & Compliance Coach with the Fayette County Public Schools and was a long-time archery coach with Tates Creek Middle School. She is an active member of the Scott County Homemakers, a board member of Unexpected Blessings in Georgetown and active with missions, the hand bell choir and the Love & Stitches ministry at church.

Grant and Pam actively attend the Georgetown First United Methodist Church. They have two children, Lauren (and her husband Jarrod) who live in Murray, KY and Andrew, who lives in Georgetown.

They enjoy traveling, going to the lake, gardening, beekeeping, canning vegetables, the theatre, and a good game of mahjong with friends. Of course, time with their family is always special.

Sharon Alexander

Associate, Celebrant, Grief Counselor

Sharon joined the Johnson family in 2012 after receiving a Bachelors degree in Human Services and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson School of Counseling. A masters internship was instrumental for the empathy for bereavement grief, further leading to facilitating grief support groups as well as private grief counseling. Sharon received Life Tribute Celebrant certification from Santa Anna, CA in 2013.

Sharon attends Central Church in Georgetown where she is active in women’s ministry. She is an advocate for our elderly generation and is passionate about the importance of caregiving. She enjoys being outdoors,beaches, flowers, writing and attending all of her grandchildren’s activities. She has worked in the flower industry and floral design for 41 years.

Sharon finds her joy in family and celebrates her 4 grandchildren daily. Her faith is essential.

Toby Murray

Associate

A life-long resident of Georgetown, Toby joined Johnson's in 2018 and has been a staple since. He is retired from LexMark and is a member of Harmony Christian Church and American Legion Post 24 Sons of the American Legion. When he's not at the funeral home, Toby is "pickin" with the Shanghai Express band throughout central Kentucky, looking for a deal at the Peddlers Mall, having a meal with friends or supporting his grandchildren at their baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming or other events.

Toby is married to Terry Marshall Murray and they have two children, TG and Tara as well as eight wonderful grandchildren.

Donnie Davis

Associate

Donnie was born and raised in Johnson County, in Eastern Kentucky, and learned the value of hard work growing up on a farm. As a youth, he worked at the Paintsville Funeral Home under the direction of his uncle and cousin. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Kentucky. Donnie is retired from the University of Kentucky having served 40 years as Director of Farm Operations in Princeton, Kentucky and Lexington, Kentucky and is a long-time resident of Georgetown/Scott County since 2009. He joined Johnson’s Funeral Home in 2025 because he has a passion for serving people in times of need.

Donnie is very civic minded having served in many capacities at church and community of residence. He currently serves as member of the finance committee and usher at First United Methodist in Georgetown. He previously served as chairman of the Caldwell County Hospital Board, and Princeton/Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce before moving to Georgetown. Donnie enjoys traveling, landscaping, DIY projects, helping children with home repairs and supporting grandchildren in school and sports.

Donnie is married to Jeanne Riley Davis and they have two sons, Jason and Scott, as well as two beautiful grandchildren, Brady and Zoe.

Kim Grigsby Donaldson

Associate

Kim’s family has been part of the Georgetown community since the early 1920’s. She graduated from Scott County High School and Georgetown College. After 20+ years teaching at a business college, Kim went back to get a teaching licensure for elementary from Asbury University. Kim currently teaches in a private school in Georgetown.

Kim recently moved back to Georgetown to live in her great-grandmother’s refurbished house that was built by her great-grandfather around 1925. There’s no place like home.

Kim enjoys gardening, learning more about her Jesus, walking around town, and making new memories with family and friends. She is also known to pull over to appreciate a beautiful scene in nature. Her favorite hobby....being "Mimi" to her grandchildren.

Robbi Barber

Associate

Robbi has been working with Johnson’s Funeral Home since 2015. Robbi got her Bachelors and Masters at Lindsey Wilson and is currently enrolled in a Doctoral Program at University of the Cumberlands.

She currently serves as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion and Assistant Dean of Students at Georgetown College. She has been at Georgetown College for 22 years. Robbi loves to go shopping, listen to gospel music and eat ice cream! Her ultimate joy is spending time with her grandchildren.

Her favorite quote is “When someone shows you who they are, believe them.”

Mike Fry

Associate

Mike has lived in Scott County since 1959 and graduated from Scott County High School in 1968. He and his wife, Sandy Spickard Fry, have been married for more than 50 years and are members of Gano Baptist Church, where Mike was ordained in 2009. Together, they have three children, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

When Mike isn’t helping at the funeral home, he enjoys hunting, fishing, a round of golf and spoiling his grandchildren.

Isabel Saylor

Apprentice Funeral Director & Embalmer

Isabel joined the Johnson's staff in May of 2026. Adopted as a baby from Guatemala and raised in Georgetown, Isabel is a 2023 graduate of Great Crossing High School, ECS, and a 2026 Graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, serving on the student council as well as various class committees. In June of 2026, she began her apprenticeship with Johnson's.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, going thrifting, and spending time with friends and family.

Terry Murray

Associate & Beautician

A life-long resident of Scott County, she is the daughter of George and Litha Marshall of Georgetown. Terry has served as a beautician and assisted Johnson's for many years but became "official" in 2014.

Terry has been a beautician in Georgetown for more than 45 years. She is a member of Harmony Christian Church and is devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, supporting them at their baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming or other events.

Terry is married to Toby and they have two children, TG and Tara as well as eight wonderful grandchildren.

Andrew Bolt

Associate

The son of Grant and Pam Bolt, Andrew is a 2022 graduate of Scott County High School and a 2025 graduate of Hanover College, with a degree in Business as well as Communication, all while playing collegiate lacrosse. At Hanover, he was a member and Vice-President of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, volunteered in the community when available as well as serving on the Student Business Council.

A 1st team All-State defenseman, he was a member and three-time captain of the Scott County United lacrosse team and attends the Georgetown First United Methodist Church.

Andrew is employed with Pat Juett Heating & Air and assists at the funeral home when available. In his free time he enjoys going to the lake, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

R.C. (Chuck) and Frankie C. Johnson

Chuck Johnson, a lifelong native of Georgetown, took over the family businesses of Johnson’s Funeral Home and Johnson’s Furniture & Interiors at the death of his father when he was 19 years old.

Chuck was a graduate of Georgetown High School and Georgetown College where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Frankie Cagle Johnson is a native of Coral Gables, Florida and came to Georgetown College where she met Chuck. After receiving her degree in Education from Georgetown College, she taught at Mary Todd Elementary School until she and Chuck started their family. She became a licensed funeral director in 1988.

Chuck and Frankie have three children, Katherine, Elizabeth and Charles and three grandchildren; Cyrus, Frankie and Steven. They are active members of First Christian Church and currently volunteer with various local charities in the community.

Chuck passed away April 20, 2016 and will be greatly missed by the funeral home and those in Scott County.
