Wanda Ann (Breen) Sowers, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 29th, 2016. She was born July 23rd, 1945 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of the late Everett and Dorothy (Smith) Breen. Wanda was a member of Penn Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Dottie (Kris) Linder; her son, Gayle Sowers, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Brandon Sowers, Joey Arthur, Shelby Sowers, Logan Sowers, Adrianne Wise, Braxton Hamon and Skyler Hamon; one great-grandson, Ethan Sowers; one sister, Hulah “Deanie” (Kenneth) Wasson; one brother, Everett “Willie” (Susan) Breen. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one son, Shawn Everett Sowers. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held 11:00am on Saturday with Pastor Curtis Coots officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Coy Breen, Mindy Wasson, Missy Wasson, Barry Wasson, Logan Sowers, Joey Arthur and Brandon Sowers.
