Wylie Ray Clayton, Jr, 48, husband of April Perkins Clayton, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024. Born in Cynthiana, KY, he was the son of Wylie Ray Clayton and Elvina LeBus Clayton.

A graduate of Harrison County High School, he attended The University of the Cumberlands on a football scholarship, before graduating from Eastern Kentucky University. Wylie served as the Safety Director for Bizzack, enjoyed a round of golf, loved football and was an avid Tennessee fan.

In addition to his parents and wife of 25 years, he is survived by his children, Kayla Renee Ferguson and Logan Ray Clayton; sister, Kristin Clayton McDonald; grandchildren, Braxton Ferguson and Emersyn Ferguson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery, Stamping Ground, KY. Casket bearers will be Buck McDonald, Phillip Perkins, Austin Anderson, Terry Herrington, Scott Herrington and Frazer LeBus IV. Honorary bearers will be Mike Coffey, Lloyd Ewell, Colin Rogers and Jon Bott. Visitation will be 5- 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
