William (Bill) Howard Bryson, 73, husband of Karen Marie Bryson, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mavis Simmons Bryson.
The former maintenance director for Ss. Francis and John Parish, he was also a licensed electrician. A member of the Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES), he was a ham radio operator, a member of the Emergency Management Association and a NOAA Skywarn volunteer. Bill was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Air Force, working in radio repair and runway maintenance. He was also a teenage Hells Angel member, enjoyed camping, hiking, working a sustainable garden, and was an electronic, renewable energy and computer hobbyist.
In addition to his wife of 48 years, he is survived by his daughters, Jody Ann (Neil) Paris and Tina Marie (Carlos) Manrique; brothers, Lee (Patricia) Bryson and Ronald (Regina) Bryson; grandchildren, Evelyn, Gabriel, Delia, Alexander, Zachary and Donovan; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Carolyn) Duda. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert and Deborah Bryson; in-laws, Arnold and Agnes Duda.
A memorial mass will be 11 AM Friday, June 14, 2024 at Ss Francis & John Parish at Cardome, conducted by Rev. Linh Nguyen. The visitation will be at 10 AM at the Cardome Chapel. Interment will follow Mass at the St. Francis Mission Cemetery.
