William Ballard passed away on March 14th at the age of 75. Born on March 6, 1951, Bill lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a quiet willingness to help others.

Bill had a deep love for dogs and found great joy in their companionship. He also enjoyed traveling and appreciated the experiences and memories that came from exploring new places. Those who knew Bill will remember him as someone who was always willing to lend a hand. Whether it was snowblowing a neighbor's driveway during the winter or helping out in small everyday ways, Bill was known for looking out for those around him.

Above all, Bill valued time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who took pride in the lives and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara Ballard; his sons, William, Jonathan (Cindy), and Niklaus (Ann); and his beloved grandchildren, Zak, James, and Wyatt. He will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of responsibility to others, and the many small acts of generosity that made a difference in the lives of those who knew him.

A service will be held on April 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Platteville, Wisconsin. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 a.m. to remember and celebrate Bill's life. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
