Virginia Ruth (Revel) Yazell, 96, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She was born June 23, 1927 in Richmond, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Albert and Mary Bessie (Columbia) Revel. Virginia was a member of Victory Tabernacle and enjoyed going to church every chance she could. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, working in her flower gardens, collecting elephant and angel figurines but most of all, she enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Pamela Christan; her step-daughter, Sherry Murphy; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister, Roberta and her dear friends, James and Fanny Devers. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Samuel Martin and James Allen Martin and one daughter, Bessie Louise Martin and several brothers and sisters.
