Thelma Elaine (Thomas) Floyd, 69, wife of Michael Wayne Floyd, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022. She was born February 15, 1953 in Scott County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Harvey James and Bessie Lee (Williams) Thomas.

Thelma was a member of The House Of God in Georgetown and served on The Mother's Board for many years. She enjoyed traveling when she could and taking care of her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Michael, Thelma is survived by her two daughters, Kina Suarez and Shera Jones; eight grandchildren, Mayan White, Ishan Cooper, Vance Waide, Scottlynn Ferguson, Elias Ferguson, Anais Suarez, Ana Suarez and Micah Suarez; six sisters and brothers, Hattie Gilkey, Harvey Thomas Jr., James F. (Sally) Thomas, Wanzella Richmond, Joyce Ann Thomas and Anna L. (James) Johnson. Besides her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Brooks and one brother, George H. Thomas.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 6 at The House Of God in Lexington at 866 Georgetown Street from 1pm until time of service at 2pm with Pastor Tyrone Johnson officiating.
