In Loving Memory of Sylvia H. Falcon

January 6, 1950 - March 16, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and a beautiful collection of memories that we announce of the passing of Sylvia Hinojosa Falcon who left us on March 16, 2026 at the age of 76. A woman of boundless energy and a spirit as vast as the ocean she loved. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the family she cherished. Born in San Antonio she was one of thirteen children, a role that shaped her into a woman of incredible resilience and deep loyalty. To her siblings she was a constant source of love and support and laughter and sometimes mischief. To her children she was the open arms of a warm embrace filled with a guiding light of love. To her grandchildren she was their cheerleader; she wouldn't miss an opportunity to celebrate even the smallest of their accomplishments.

We invite friends and family to join us in honoring her life (Tuesday) March 24, 2026 at Ortiz Mortuary located 3114 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, TX 78228 from 4-5 (family) 5 - 8 PM (friends). A Rosary will be held at 6 PM. On (Wednesday) March 25, 2026, a mass will be held at 10 AM at St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
