Sun Hyang Willett, 70, wife of Joseph Elder Willett, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Born in Wonju, South Korea, she served as a missionary with the Unification Church, serving in Korea, Brazil as well as the United States. A former member of the South Korean Army, she owned her own floral business and continued to witness to people for her church. In her personal ministry, she traveled throughout all 120 counties in the state of Kentucky, with her husband, offering marriage rededication ceremonies to first responders and their families.

In addition to her husband of 41 years, she is survived by her son, Sunder (Yumi) Willett; grandson, Eli Willett; as well as two brothers, numerous cousins and her beloved church family.

Visitation will be 2 PM Saturday at Johnson's Funeral Home with a service beginning at 3 PM.
