Suellen Keyser Maynard, 80, widow of Donald Gene Maynard, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024. Raised in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Alice Boner Keyser.

She was a retired teacher in the Boyd County, KY school district. She enjoyed traveling; a cruise, trip to Las Vegas, or visit to Bradenton, Florida would not take place without Sue! She loved disco, listening to Bruno Mars and was an avid UK football and basketball fan. Suellen loved her sweet dogs, and was exceedingly proud of and devoted to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Crystal Maynard (Mark) Showalter and Leslie G. Maynard; sisters, Sara Castle and Mary Ingram; grandchildren, Jessica (Brian) Wells, Jack Sanders, Sam Showalter and Ellie Showalter; great grandchildren, Draven Tice and Braden Tice.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
