Stuart Allen Muir, 79, widower of Betty Ruth Muir, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Born in Georgetown, KY, he was the son of the late Chester and Juanita Carew Muir.

A retired tool maker with Interplex Plastics, he was a member Georgetown Baptist Church, the Southern Knights Car Club and loved tinkering with old cars.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Belongia and Marsha (Don) McCarty; brother, Chester Muir, Jr; sister, Judy Wells; grandchildren, Aura McCarty, Aaron Belongia and Hannah Belongia.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Tim Schindler. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
