Stephen Eric McCord, 50, husband of Anna McCord, passed away on June 14, 2024, in Lexington. Born in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late David L. McCord and Deborah McCord.
He was raised in Paris, KY for most of his life and was a 1993 Bourbon County graduate. Stephen moved to Georgetown in 2016 and retired from Toyota Motor Manufacturing. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, motorcycles, and all-terrain vehicles. He was an avid boater who spent a lot of time driving and rebuilding RC cars. He loved U.K. basketball, Nascar, and watching the Bengals. Stephen was known as a tattoo aficionado but took most pride in his family ties.

Although Stephen's life story has been written and complete, the story of his legacy is just getting started. Stephen's final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation and several people will live on thanks to his unselfish desire to always help others in need.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
