Shirley Ison's Obituary
Shirley A. Ison, 65, wife of Richard Ison, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Born in Maysville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Leafie Hamilton.
Raised in Poplar Plains, KY, she enjoyed puzzles, collecting porcelain dolls and cats and was a member of Trinity Assembly of God.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brothers, Sonny Hamilton and Jimmy (Karen) Hamilton; special daughter, Missy (Gary) Clemmons; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lindas Kilgore and brother, Larry Hamilton.
A memorial service will be1 PM Friday, October 24, 2025 at Trinity Assembly of God. Visitation will begin at 12 PM.
