Sherry Frye Taylor, 76, wife of Van J. Taylor, Jr, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025. Born in Flora, IN, she was the daughter of the late Betty Marshall Frye Bramlett and Robert Dean Frye.

A former church secretary with Cane Run Baptist Church, she cherished time with her family, especially trips with her husband. She was a member of Gano Baptist Church, sang in the choir and served as a Gideon.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by her sons, Van J. "Sandy" Taylor, III and Brandon (Katleyn) Taylor; brother, Michael (Sandy) Fry; sisters, Tina (Rick) Keith, Robin (Barry) Humphrey, Becky (Brian) Phillips and Jeannie (DeVaughn Clemons) Bramlett; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday at Gano Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Rob Muncy and Rev. Harry Hargis. Visitation will be 1 PM till service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon's International.
