Shannon Dale "Elrod" Aubrey, 48, husband of Rachel (Bossio) Aubrey, passed away on Friday, September 9th, 2022. He was born on November 20th, 1973 in Lexington, Kentucky, son of Glenn A. (Cathy) Aubrey and the late Linda (Roe) Aubrey. Shannon had been a licensed massage therapist and most recently, a heavy equipment operator with Lagco. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cooking on his smoker, working on his "honey do list" and most importantly, he loved being with his family any chance he could.

In addition to his beloved wife Rachel and his father Glenn and step-mother Cathy, Shannon is survived by two sons, Matthew Paul (Mary Mullikin) Weatherly and Charles Andrew Weatherly; one daughter, Ruby Jewell Weatherly; his granddaughter, Stella Rose Weatherly; two sisters, Glenna Marie (Joe) Stamper and Sandy (Billy) Stafford; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides his mother Linda, Shannon was preceded in death by two sons, Shawn Dakota Aubrey and Kaleb Thomas Aubrey.

Shannon's Celebration Of Life visitation will be held on Monday, September 19th, from 4pm to 7pm at Johnson's Funeral Home.
