Scotty Dale Nation, 54, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024. Born in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Sharon Spencer (Paul) Cooper and the late Roy Lee Nation.

An electrical contractor, Scotty loved to work. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, driving his mustang and "horse-trading" with folks.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Ricky (Robin) Nation, Dana (Steven) Boardman, Hope Buckler, Nicol Nation-Vittitow, Paula Cooper, James Cooper, Sis (Billy) Simpson and Jonathan (Amanda) Cooper; his "adopted daughter", Kiersten Cross and her daughter Kimber; his long-time friend, Kelly Kirby; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Hayes and niece, Jessica Lykins.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Rick Hostettler. Casket bearers will be Braydon Boardman, Noah Boardman, Uriah Boardman, Steven Boardman, Jon McCullough and Jarrod Nester. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time.
