Sarah Gillispie Bertrand, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Born in Scott County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ford and Amanda Gillispie.

Retired from Kroger after 30+ years of service, Sarah enjoyed scrapbooking, pottery, cross-stitching and quilting. She was a collector, whether it be tea sets, m&m's, Beanie Babies or the current new trend. Above all, she loved her family and her time with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Harrod; sister, Judy Gillispie Duncan; grandchildren, Justin Lee (Kate Kellum) Rose and Cody Harrod. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Rose; siblings, Michael Dean Gillispie and Lavonda Traylor.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
