Obituary

Sabino Alonzo Alarcón

February 12, 1945 - February 21, 2026

Sabino Alonzo Alarcón was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Maria Luisa and Juan Alarcón. The youngest of his siblings, Sabino was the family's rebellious jokester - always full of life, laughter, and unforgettable antics that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Sabino attended Sacred Heart Parochial School and later proudly joined the ranks of Holy Cross High School alumni before enlisting in the United States Army, where he served with pride and dedication.

Sabino's presence filled every room with laughter and stories. He loved fishing, spending time with his family- especially his many nieces and nephews-telling tales from years past and often doing the unexpected just to keep life interesting.

More than anything, Sabino was the heart of the family, the storyteller who kept everyone connected through humor, memories, and love. He leaves behind a lifetime of stories and cherished memories that will live on in those who loved him.

Sabino is survived by his loving wife, Fermina Alarcón; his daughters Maria Teresa Garza and Alma Julia Westfield; sons Sabino Alarcón Jr. and Juan Alejandro Alarcón; and his beloved grandchildren Ruby Pena, Marisol Teresa Alarcón, Anessa Julia Garza, and Jett Javier Westfield.
