Ronald Lloyd "Ronnie" Gaines, 78, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Born in Georgetown, KY, he was the son of the late Winfred and Dorothy Stakelin Gaines.

The former owner of RL Gaines Heating and Cooling, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, truck pulls and vegetable gardening.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony Gaines and Nicholas Gaines; grandchildren, Christopher Gaines, Keylee Tester, Braedan Gaines, Tanner Gaines and Elleson Gaines; daughters-in-law, Shannon Gaines and Kristy Gaines; and numerous friends including special friend, Lana Pennington.

Services will be private.
