Robert Marvin Huber, 88, widower of Susan Toth Huber, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 surrounded by his children. Born in Toledo, OH, he was the son of the late Clarence and Corinne Klingler Huber.
While he was employed in various fields throughout his life, he mostly cherished the time he spent with Susie in the thoroughbred horse industry as owner of Windy Times Farm. A member of Ss. Francis and John Catholic Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War, he loved thoroughbred horse racing, the Boston Red Sox and Notre Dame Football. He was a voracious reader as well as a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his children, Don Huber, Ft. Thomas, KY, Dan (Cristal) Huber, Georgetown, KY and Connie (Jody) Stidham, Franklin, TN; sister, Donna Titsworth, Oregon, OH; grandchildren, Daniel (Tasha) Huber, Holly (Trey) Gifford, Madeline Huber, Griffin Huber, Josh Stidham, Brock Huber, Lainie Stidham and Ella Huber; great grandchild, Carson Ray Huber. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie Huber, Skip Huber and Evan Huber.
A memorial mass will be held 11 AM Monday, April 15, 2024 at Ss. Francis and John Catholic Church at Cardome. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ss. Francis & John's Parish Life Center Campaign.
