Richard James Johnson, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Born in Georgetown, KY, he was the son of the late Jesse William "Bill" and Goldie Mae Tudor Johnson.

A former Regional Director with UPS, he loved his family and extended family, but was most devoted to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Vicky Holbrook and Jesse William "Bill" Johnson; step son, Tony Haynes; grandchildren, Ian Alexander Holbrook and Nia Madison Holbrook; step granddaughter, Sophia Haynes; siblings, Margaret (Bob) Warren, Connie (Ralph) Tackett, H.T. (Rachel) Johnson, Randy (Doris) Johnson, Alfred (Carole) Johnson and Joe. W. Johnson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Paul Johnson, Charles Johnson, Elsie Sharp, Martha Burke and Sue Hart.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
