Regina Gail Seagriff, 69, widow of Peter J. Seagriff, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lorraine Brandenburg Williams and James William Bruin.

Regina was raised in Scott County, was in many plays and was a pom-pom girl in high school. A Kentucky Colonel, she was a graduate of the Citizen Fire and Police Academies and served as secretary of the Citizen Police Academy. She enjoyed cooking, collecting cookbooks, cross-stitching, gardening and loved to read. She was a proud Marine veteran and was the first woman to serve in the Marine headquarters in Washington, DC.

She is survived by her sisters, Sue Williamson, Fay Asher, Robyn Taylor and April Taylor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Keith Bruin.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday.
