Rebecca Vela Poore born May 29, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Tuesday July 1, 2025. Becky was devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James Edward Poore. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Francisco and Maria Luisa Vela and sister Sylvia Offer and brother Albert Vela.

She is survived by her children Adam Mendiola Sr. (Lucinda), Yvonne Cantù, Cynthia Valle (Jose) and grandchildren Adam Mendiola Jr., Mark Arce, Jade Mendiola, Matthew Aldaco, Madison Gonzalez and Lanae Miranda and nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was a beautiful person who loved going to the beach and loved her Spurs. Her favorite band was the Eagles in her words the best band ever. Mom was a retired nurse who enjoyed being with family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all.
