Porfirio was a loving and caring person who enjoyed gatherings with his family and friends. He loved his wine, loved to travel and loved to be the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by everyone close to him.

Porfirio O. Alvarado Jr. passed away peacefully in his home with loved ones near, he was preceded in death by his Parents: Mary O. Alvarado & Porfirio E. Alvarado Sr., and brothers James O. Alvarado, Ernest O. Alvarado & Gilbert O. Alvarado. He is also survived by his siblings Richard O. Alvarado, Gilda O. Alvarado. Nieces and Nephews: Conrad A. Munoz Jr., Mario A. Munoz (Kim), Valerie A. Marin (Robert), Jessica A. Aguilar (Robert), & Ernest Alvarado Jr., Nicole M. Garza (Jacob). With Extended Family and Friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 2nd, 2025, From 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Ortiz Mortuary Inc., 3114 Culebra Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78228.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 3rd, 2025, at 10:30am at Our lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 1214 Stonewall St., San Antonio, Texas, 78211.

Followed by internment at San Fernando Cemetery II., 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78237.
