Pedro (Pete) Berlanga Gomez was born December 4, 1932, and passed from his life on January 1, 2025, at the age of 92 years.

Pedro worked for the San Antonio Housing Authority for 41 years. Pedro was a very good "Handy man" and helped everyone that needed help with anything. Pedro enjoyed playing "softball" with men's league at Kroger Stoke back in the days. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and was loved by many.

Pedro was a wonderful son that loved his mother and father. Beloved brother to his siblings. Pedro loved his children and enjoyed all the time he spent with each one of them in life. Pedro adored his grandchildren and great great grandchildren and there was nothing he would not do for them he was a great grandfather. Pedro was known by his nieces and nephews as the "Favorite Uncle". Pedro will be missed dearly not only by his family but by his friends.

Pedro is survived by his children, Pete Tamez Gomez (Dolores), Gloria Maria Gomez Garcia (Jesse), Pedro Gomez Jr., Paul Eric Gomez, & Victoria Ann Gomez Meza (Gonzalo). Sister's, Candelaria Ramirez, Victoria Salinas. Grandchildren, Myranda Gomez, Peter Samuel Gomez, Amber Gomez, Miranda Martinez, Devin Garcia, Keilani Garcia, Ariano Gomez, Aulina Gomez, Juanita Gomez, Paul Gomez Jr., Mary Jane Gomez, Eric Gomez, Ethan Meza, Paul Gomez Jr., Liam Meza, & Carlisle Meza. Great Grand Children, Brooke Moreno, Mason Moreno, Nicholas Esquivel, Elias Esquivel & Malik Keller. Numerous Niece's & Nephew's.

Preceded in death, parents Herculano Gomez & Guadalupe Berlanga Gomez. Brother's, Jose Berlanga, Paul Berlanga Gomez, Frank Gomez. Sister's, Maria Luisa Herrera, Feliz Villanueva, Susie Sanchez.

Pedro (Pete) Gomez has gained his wings. We will always remember him with the memories, but he will forever remain in our hearts.

Services for Pedro (Pete) Berlanga Gomez will be on Thursday, January 23, 2025, with a Visitation starting 4:00 pm - 8:00pm. On January 23, 2025, a Rosary will be at the Ortiz Mortuary Chapel - B at 6:00pm. On Friday, January 24, 2025, there will be a Visitation from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. The funeral will depart at 9:15 am to a Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Panteon San Lorenzo Cemetery for a 11:45 am arrival.
