Pamela Sue Thomas, 77, of Lexington, passed away at home,
surrounded by family on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Born in Greenup
County, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of Charles and Georgia
Gayheart Allen. Pam spent time behind the bar at The Library Lounge
and Bananas Tavern, where her quick wit and dry humor made her a
crowd favorite. Her heart was always open to animals, and she often
welcomed those in need of foster care into her Georgetown home.
Fiercely loyal to her friends and family, Pam found joy in reading,
crocheting and treasured every moment with her granddaughter and new
great-grandson. She leaves behind her daughter, Terra (Steven)
Abelquist; brother, Greg (Susan) Allen; nephew Gregory Allen and sister
Kathy (John Paul) Pucek; granddaughter, Willow Abelquist; and great
grandson, Suede Jones. A private celebration of her life will be held on
Saturday February 28th
