Ollie Marie Kelly our beloved matriarch, a devoted wife, nurturing mother, adoring grandmother, cherished aunt, and faithful friend departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the age of 74.
Born to Ernest and Mary Alice Nichols in Paris, TN on October 25, 1950, Ollie was the fourth child of six siblings, all of whom preceded her in death. Raised in a home rooted in love, and sacrifice, she embraced the call of service early in life and carried it with grace throughout her years.

Ollie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and confirmed her faith and rededicated her life throughout her later years. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, crossword puzzles, watching church service online, listening to praise and worship music and helping her loved ones and anyone in need. She was educated in the Philadelphia School System and worked as Manager at the Society of St. Vincent DePaul for many years, where she used her gifts to give and bless every person she met.
Ollie always nurtured family ties wherever she was. Her Philadelphia Bestie, "Kim", was her friend whom she loved & respected. Her nephews, "Darryl, Tony, James, Leonard, Eric & Don Don", were special to her, always available when she needed things done. In Georgetown, God blessed her with another Bestie, "Val", whom she also loved & respected. Mom could often be heard saying, "Val", that's my girl! As a loving Mother would, she adopted another daughter, "Hope", two sons, "LaDon & Fleming", and a granddaughter, "Dalazia", whom she truly loved. They all loved, respected, honored and served her until the end.

A woman of quiet strength and boundless compassion Ollie lived her life selflessly—always giving, always helping. She opened her heart and home to all, offering care, wisdom, a warm meal and a place to stay. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, filled with the aroma of her signature dishes, laughter, and the joy of generations gathering under one roof. Family gatherings were her greatest delight, where her presence always brought peace and unity.

Ollie married her best friend and lifelong partner, Hermon Kelly, and together they shared 46 beautiful years of marriage built on friendship, faith, and unwavering commitment. Their union was blessed with five children—two sons and three daughters. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Hermon Kelly, her son Curtis Morris, her parents Ernest Sr. and Mary Nichols and all of her siblings, Alice Gant (Joe), Ernest Nichols, Jr., Laura Moultrie (Donald), Arlene Jefferson (Kenneth) and Marlon Nichols.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and service in the hearts of those she touched. She is survived by her children: Bonita Kelly, Vincent (April) Morris, Sharon Morris and Mary Kelly, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends—each of whom was a treasured part of her life and her prayers.
Her life was a testament to faith, family, and selfless devotion. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the meals shared, the traditions upheld, and the love she sowed into every generation.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Restorer of Paths International Ministries (100 Payne Ave STE 1A&B). Visitation will be 11 AM till service time. Memorials may be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul.
