Naomi Royce Rousseau, 78, widow of James Joseph Rousseau, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023. Born in Gadsden, AL, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Edna (Sheffield) Hughes.

A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed quilting, knitting, and was an avid sports enthusiast.

She is survived by her children, Cindy (Robin) Cox, Penny (George) Alfonso, Karen (David) Huber, Michelle (Dennis) Andrews, Christine Rousseau, Jaimy (Deja') Rousseau, and Tricia (Scott) Broughton and sister, Patricia (Jerry) Womack and brother, John Hughes; as well as 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Brooks (Betty) Hughes and Amy (Homer) Witherow.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
