Nancy C. Anderson, Georgetown, KY, died June, 9th, 2025 at the age of 95, after a short illness. She is survived by her children, Charles "Tom" (Rhoda) Anderson and Mary Tanke (Paul), two grandchildren Laurel Ovrom (Erik), and Heather A. Tanke. She was predeceased by her husband Charles K. Anderson, her grandson Erin S. Anderson, and seven siblings along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nancy was raised in Lexington, KY where she attended Henry Clay High School. Upon graduation she moved to Georgetown to attend Georgetown College. She resided in Georgetown from 1947 until her death.
For most of her professional life, she was a deputy court clerk for the U.S. District Court, Lexington, KY from which she retired in 1985. It was a job she loved. Throughout her life she was an avid gardener, spending countless hours in her own "English Garden" at her home. She has many friends to whom she spread her love and knowledge of gardening. She was, for many years, a volunteer at Ward Hall where she helped develop and maintain the several gardens there. Her life's passion was her church, Holy Trinity Episcopal, Georgetown. She became a member in 1950, making her a member of the church for over 75 years. She was on the altar guild for over 60 years and in her later years, took on the task of training the next generation. She was in the choir for most of her church life, she served on the vestry, the Church Women, and multiple committees over the years. Her warmest feelings about her church were in regards to the innumerable friendships she was blessed with from her church family, both clergy and lay. She was devoted to them and they to her.
