Molly Raye Setzer Sigmon, 89, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024. Born in Conover, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Ray and Margaret Elizabeth Little Setzer.

A colorful and flamboyant person who never met a stranger, Molly loved flowers, was active in Garden Clubs, on the local, state, and national levels, and even served as a National Flower Show Judge. An accomplished artist, she was known for her work capturing nature and landscapes in abstract and multi-mediums, including commissioned art pieces across the country. She was active in her community, as a member of the Faith Baptist Church and on the Board of Directors for the Buckhorn Children's Home. She lived for many years near the beaches of the Carolinas and loved visiting often.

She is survived by her children, Margaret (Danny) Maggard, Mary Elizabeth Freeman and Harold Alfred Sigmon, Jr; grandchildren, Raye (Brandon) Hurley, Dr. Danielle (Bo) Bocook, Dr. Molly (Mark) Brockman, Stacey (Jason) Sellers, Trey Sigmon and Rebeckah (Blane) Adcock; as well as eight great grandchildren, and dear family friend David Blackburn.

A memorial service will be 12 PM Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Bob Fox. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 116 Pocahontas Trail, Georgetown, KY, 40324.
