Michael Shane Darnell, 48, passed away on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021. He was born March 6th, 1973 in Georgetown, Kentucky, son of the Mike Arnold and the late Donna (Rodgers) Darnell. Shane served in the United States Army. He enjoyed writing poems, listening to music and watching movies and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Shane is survived by his two brothers, Toby Darnell and Justin Arnold; his two sisters, Stacey Darnell and Jessica Arnold; his step-father, David Darnell; additional family members, Danielle Southworth, Dylan Southworth, Trevor Southworth, Cameryn Darnell, Luke Darnell and Tanner Brock. Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, October 11th at Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Southworth, Mike Southworth, Trevor Southworth, Calvin Rodgers and Sawyer Quinton.
