Michael Alvarez Cantu, born on September 18, 1983, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 41.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Albert Orosco Cantu and Micaela Alvarez Cantu. He is survived by his wife, Tatiana Thompkins; his cherished children, Michael Alexander Cantu and Maddalyn Grace Cantu; his sister, Myra Trevino; and his brother, Albert Cantu, & (Mother -in -law) Elsa Thompkins. Numerous Aunts/Uncles, 1 Nephew, 4 Niece, 2 Great Nephews & Numerous Cousins.

Family and friends are invited to honor Michael's life during a visitation on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a recitation of the rosary beginning at 6:30 PM. Services will be held in Chapel A at Ortiz Mortuary, Inc., located at 3114 Culebra Rd., San Antonio, TX 78228 .

Michael will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
