In Loving Memory of Baby Matthew Javier Lopez
May 16, 2025 – June 10, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious baby, Matthew Javier Lopez, who was born on May 16, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, and went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2025. Though his time with us was brief, Matthew brought immeasurable love and joy to everyone who held him.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Hortencia Tovar; great-grandparents, Pedro and Belia Calbillo, Olga and Ramon Lopez; uncle, Phillip Lopez; and cousin, Ariel Lopez.

Matthew is lovingly survived by his parents, Roger Lopez and Vanessa Valdez; his siblings, Roger M. Lopez, Rocky Lopez, Damon Lopez, Noah Lopez, and Isabella Lopez; his grandparents, Miguel and Diana Valdez, and Rafael and Juana Lopez; his aunt, Daisy (Jesus) Cuellar; and uncles, David (April) Almanza, Noe Lopez, Rafael (Nancy) Lopez, and Julio C. Lopez.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ortiz Mortuary, Inc., Chapel A, with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM.

Though we only held him for a short time, Matthew will remain in our hearts forever.
