Maryanne E. (Everitt) Adams, 97, widow of Bernard Joseph Adams, passed away on Thursday, August 26th, 2021. She was born November 30th, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late George N. and August E. (Stein) Everitt. Maryanne retired from South Junior High School where she had been the secretary for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Newburgh, New York and she enjoyed reading and baking. Maryanne is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Anne (Myron) Cohen and Janet Marie Adams; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Maryanne was preceded in death by one grandchild and her two brothers, George Everitt and David Everitt. There will be a private service in Georgetown and then Maryanne will be entombed at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, New York.
