Mary Ellen (Williams) Knight, 92, widow of James Melvin Knight and beloved mother of Steven Craig Knight, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. She was born on May 30, 1931 in Fayette County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Arthur Goble and Georgia May (Huckle) Williams. Mary was the Section Manager for sixteen years at W.T. Grants. Mary was an avid collector of "Snow Babies" for many years and displayed them throughout her home. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Williams and James Williams. Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2023 from 11:30am until 12:30pm at Johnson's Funeral Home, followed by graveside service at The Lexington Cemetery.
