Obituary

Martin Neil Willbur, 83, husband of Judith Anne Cornelius Willbur, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024. Born May 7, 1940 in Battle Creek, MI, he was the son of the late Warren and Arlene Willbur.

A retired machinist with Clark Equipment, he enjoyed welding and could fix just about anything. "If it was put together, I can take it apart and fix it" was his famous quote. He built his own homes without the use of blueprints. At the age of 32, he gave his life to the Lord, he loved reading his Bible and loved his family.

In addition to his wife of 63 Years, he is survived by his daughter, Brenda Ray; brother, Robin (Earlene) Willbur; sister, Sharon (Bruce) Bates; granddaughters, Rebecca and Rachel Ray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Willbur; sisters, JoAnn Bain, Carol Mathews and Susie Wilson; and brothers, Lyle Willbur and Mike Willbur.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at Bluegrass Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Kyle Fannin. Burial will be 1 PM Monday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North, Williamstown, KY. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at Bluegrass Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bluegrass Baptist Church, 210 New Coleman Lane, Georgetown, KY 40324.
