Maria C. Ortiz, born July 17, 1930, went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2025, at the age of 95 years.

Maria is survived by her children; Gilberto Ortiz, Celia Ortiz Lopez, Carolina & Guadalupe Balderas, Manuel & Aurora Ortiz, Estela Ruiz, Marcelino & Esmeralda Ortiz, Rodolfo Ortiz, Belen & Esequiel Escamilla and Monica & Jimmy Jimenez, sisters; Presiliano Lope, Francisca Lopez, Maria Refugio Villagomez, and Josefina Lopez, Grandchildren; 31, Great grandchildren; 39, Great - grandchildren; 22.

Preceded in Death: Samuel Ortiz (husband), Adolfo Lopez, Sara Lopez, Alicia Lopez, Beatriz Ortiz, Angel Lopez, and Daniel Ruiz.

The services will be held at the Ortiz Mortuary on (Thursday), October 16, 2025, with a visitation at 4:00pm - 8:00pm followed by a Rosary @ 6:30pm. On (Friday), October 17, 2025, the family will meet at the Ortiz Mortuary to say their last goodbyes at 8:30am with a departure for 9:15am to a mass at Christ the King at 10am. Internment will then follow for a 11:45am arrival at San Fernando #2.
