Maria Matiana Huizar, age 91, was born on February 25, 1935, in Matehuapil, Zacatecas, Mexico, and entered eternal rest on April 12, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Huizar; her parents, Herlinda and David Camacho.

Maria is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Diane Huizar and Elizabeth Moreno (Arturo); her sister, Irene Bernal; her brother, Alvaro Camacho; and her cherished grandchildren, Mia Abigail Moreno and Alexa Sophia Moreno.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ortiz Mortuary Inc., Chapel A, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m.

On Friday, May 1, 2026, a procession will depart Ortiz Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery in Poth, Texas.

Maria will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
