Margaret Anne Wyse, 80, former English professor at Murray State University, Midway College and Austin Peay State University passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Roberta Windsor Wyse. An active member of Episcopal Diocese of Lexington, she also enjoyed music and loved to read. In her early years she was an avid horsewoman and showed Saddlebreds at the top of the sport. Later in life she earned her master's degree in Photojournalism and her PhD in English.

She is survived by her children, Tess (Bernie) Utterback, Robert (Galena) Wyse and Gryphon Wyse; granddaughter, Isla Utterback; and special cousins, Ruth Steeves and Judy Wyse.

Services will be private.
