Lawerence Wesley King, 77, widower of Lelia Prater King, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024. He was born on May 4, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late George Albert and Anna Marie (Miller) King. Lawerence served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He received his Master's Degree in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University and retired from the Kentucky State Police forensic lab, where he had been a trace analyst. Lawerence was an accomplished woodworker and avid reader.

Lawerence in survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Ann King and Deborah Dawn King; his brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Jan Heimkreiter. Services will be private.
