Kevin Hiram Gilbert, 61, husband of Lisa Ann Gilbert, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024. Born in Ohio, he was the son of the late Steven William Gilbert and Linda Sue Noble Rice.

He was family-oriented man who enjoyed fishing, social gatherings, and festivals. A passion for the Arts inspired Kevin to express his own creativity through the love of drawing and music. He was a devoted fan and follower of the American rock band, the Grateful Dead, and took pride in being a "Deadhead." Through the years and up to recent months, he travelled city to city attending shows and being a part of the Deadhead subculture. As Kevin grew older, he found comfort in the acknowledgement of God and his Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Ambrosia (Alejandro) Contreras and Elizabeth (Pedro) Diaz; brothers, Johnny Johnson and Jerry Frizzell; sisters, Holly Frizzell and Tammy Frizzell; grandchildren, Daniela Contreras, Chloe Contreras, Jasmine Hernandez, Selena Diaz, and Tereza Diaz.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM Thursday, October 24 at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery.
