Karl Marteeny Jr's Obituary
Karl Edward Marteeny, Jr, 77, Georgetown, KY, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Karl and Ann Bender Marteeny, Sr.
Retired from the shipping unit of the Special Metals Corporation in Huntington, Karl loved fishing and time on his boat, cruising up and down the Ohio River with friends and family. He enjoyed gardening, a good game of poker and always had a joke available to share. He was also a Navy veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children, Karl Edward Marteeny, III and Andrea Marteeny Reger; as well as six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be private.
