Joseph "Joe" Franklin Wilson, 71, husband of Judy C. (Tatum) Wilson, passed away on Saturday, October 10th, 2020. He was born on October 8th, 1949 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, son of the late Calvert and Bertha (Devers) Wilson. Joe retired from Johnson Control where he had been a maintenance technician. He was a member of Dry Run Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and spending as much time as he could with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his beloved wife, Joe is survived by his two daughters, Rachel (Chuck) Traylor and Mary (Patrick) White; his son, Joseph D. Wilson; five grandchildren, Jessica (Frank) Butcher, Abby Traylor, Cole Traylor, Tori Ferland and Ashley White; four great-grandchildren, Becca Bishop, Austin Wilson, Jace Bradshaw and Levi Bradshaw; two sisters, Pat Worthington and Linda Crouch; two brothers, George Wilson and Charles Daniel (Kathy) Wilson; numerous cousins and dear friends. Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Wilson; one brother, Johnny Wilson; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Crouch. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13th, at Johnson's Funeral Home from 11am until time of service at 1pm with Jeff Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph D. Wilson, Dwayne Wilson, Steve Tatum, Clifford Shepherd, J.T. Devers and Bobby Mason.
