Joseph Fermin Haro, age 37, of San Antonio, passed away on April 24, 2026. Joseph was a loving father, good son, brother, and friend whose kindness and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Joseph will be deeply missed by his beloved family: Valerie Haro, Joseph Jr. Haro and Jaelyn Haro; his mother, María Haro; his father, David Haro; his siblings Sandra Haro, Ana Haro, and David Jr. Haro; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Joseph was known for his caring heart and outgoing personality. He devoted much of his life to caring for others and always made people feel welcomed and valued. He enjoyed running, playing soccer and basketball, dancing, playing dominos, and spending time with those he loved most. His sense of humor, humility, and friendly nature brought comfort and laughter to many lives.
A devoted Catholic, Joseph lived his life with faith, compassion, and love for his family. Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ortiz Funeral Home, 3114 Culebra Road, San Antonio. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Joseph's life and memory.

Joseph era conocido por su gran corazón y su personalidad extrovertida. Dedicó gran parte de su vida a cuidar de los demás y siempre hacía que la gente se sintiera bienvenida y valorada. Disfrutaba correr, jugar fútbol y baloncesto, bailar, jugar dominó y pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos. Su sentido del humor, humildad y naturaleza amigable brindaron consuelo y alegría a muchas vidas.
Católico devoto, Joseph vivió su vida con fe, compasión y amor por su familia. Aunque su partida deja un gran vacío, su recuerdo perdurará en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.
El servicio conmemorativo se llevará a cabo el miércoles 13 de mayo de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en la Funeraria Ortiz, ubicada en 3114 Culebra Road, San Antonio. Familiares y amigos están invitados a asistir y celebrar la vida y la memoria de Joseph.
