Joseph "Joe" Scott Goodwin, 45, husband of Cristina "Crissy" Goodwin, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born in Lexington, he was the son of Richard and Faye Minton Goodwin.

A former Certified Nurses Assistant, Joe played billiards, he loved to read, learn and he loved Jesus.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Owen Clay Masters, Luke Masters-Goodwin, Cory Alexander Ross and Cloey Lynn Ross; sister, Krista (Travis) Harrison; as well as other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be 3 PM Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Safe Harbor Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 2 PM. A reception will follow the service at the church.
