Joseph Robert Fowler, 69, husband of Justine "Tina" Mattingly Fowler, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Born in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Robert and Anita Maddox Fowler.

A graduate of Murray State University, Joe served as a procurement manager with Minova. He loved to fish, enjoyed hiking and hunting, playing his guitar and a good game of Hearts. As a youth, Joe played football and rugby and golf but loved all sports. He attended Grace Christian Church and cherished his time with his family, especially while vacationing with them in Florida.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his daughters, Laura Ashley Fowler Prewitt (Westley), and Elizabeth Anne Fowler; grandchildren; Kaysi Elizabeth Raines, Camden Wesly Joseph, Kyleigh Justine Joseph, Greyson Robert Daniel Fowler, Maddox West Prewitt and Hayden Westley Prewitt; cousins Bob Fowler and Raymond Fowler and friend by chance, brother by choice David Downey. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his son Robert Weston "Wes" Fowler; and his brother, Donald Fowler.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Grace Christian Church, 1648 Lexington Rd, Georgetown KY and will be conducted by Pastor Andrew Brown. Visitation will be 1 PM till 4 PM with service time beginning at 4 PM.
