Joseph Preston Adams Jr., born August 3, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, passed away in San Antonio, Texas, on January 9, 2025, at the age of 86 years.

Joseph Preston Adams Jr., Retired as MSgt. from the Air Force in 1978. Joseph served 20 years in the Air Force. Joseph then worked 20 years for the Civil Service for the Air Force. Joseph loved driving, eagles, deer, and reading.

He is survived by his Sibling, Vicki Hutcheson (Larry) Children, Josette Allen (William), Michael L. Adams (Kathy), Andrea D. Adams (Edward Hooten), Daughter - in -law Felicia Robertson, Erik Driscol, Melissa Reed (Richard) and Theresa Driscol. Grandchildren, David Adams, Ashley Lynn (Eric Garcia), Alexis Levens (Chris), Kaylee Adams, Autumn C. Hooten (Eric Arellano), Gabriel Ramirez Jr. (Diana), Candace Harral (Ned), James Pease, Felicia Driscol, Michelle Driscol, Olivia Driscol, Tammy Driscol, Brittany Roberts, Tobias Roberts, Sean Roberts, Maya Roberts, Bill Allen Jr, Jayme Johnson, and Andrew Allen. Great Grandchildren, Hazel Garcia, Doss Levens, Sarah Arellano, April Arellano, Nicholas Ramirez, Ezra Ramirez, Yvette Harral, Bobby Driscol, Angela Johnson, Sophia Johnson, Cynthia Johnson, Elena Johnson, Christopher, Adrian Johnson, Lydia Johnson and Fiona Johnson.

Joseph Preston Adams Jr. was married to Carmen on July 19, 1992. He is preceded in death by his wife who passed in 2023. Parents, Joseph P. Adams Sr. & Margaret Adams. Siblings, Betty Adams, Children, Starla Adams and Sean Driscol.

Services will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, with a Visitation from 12pm - 1:30pm and a Celebration of Life at 1:00pm. The family and friends will depart at 1:30pm from the Ortiz Mortuary and meet at Fort Sam Houston for a 2:15pm arrival with services starting at cemetery at 2:30pm.
