John Richard Moore, affectionately known as "Trouble" by his friends, 64, widower of Laurie Moore, passed away on Thursday, July 30th, 2020. He was born on November 3rd, 1955 in Stanford, Kentucky, son of the late William Howard and Ella Mae (Walls) Moore. John was a member of Scott County Church of Christ. He retired from Ryder Transportation after thirty-seven years of service and worked for many years with Nally & Gibson. He enjoyed watching movies, playing video games and meeting his friends for a meal. John is survived by his son, John Christopher (Stephanie Marie) Moore; five grandchildren, Christopher L. Moore, Justin Moore, Cecy Moore, Kassie Moore and Alana Moore; one sister and three brothers. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5th, from 11am until 1pm at Johnson's Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:30pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Minister Larry McCoy officiating and full Military Honors provided by The American Legion Post #8.
