Joe R. Villarreal

Joe R. Villarreal, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on April 4, 1953, in San Antonio, he was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Juan Villarreal. He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Villarreal; sons, Joe J. Villarreal and Jerry Villarreal; brother, Juan Villarreal; sisters, Grace Lujano, Sylvia Baca, and Sandra Brooks; grandchildren, Brandon, Anthony Joe, Noa, Nikko, and Davey; and his great-grandchild, Honor.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 PM, at Ortiz Mortuary, Inc., Chapel A.
