Joan Clarke's Obituary
Joan Rose Clarke, 80, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Louise Fries Cohowcz.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she was an accomplished seamstress, loved to shop and loved to collect jewelry, especially jewelry that sparkled and bedazzled. She was a member of Dry Run Baptist Church and loved sharing her faith with others.
She is survived by her children, LuAnn Elswick and Tim Clarke; grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Amanda (Andrew) Dyer and Justin Elswick; great grandchildren, Milo and Oliver Dyer. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne and Bernard Cohowcz.
Services will be held at a later date.
